Clashes continue in the Russia-Ukraine war, which has been going on since February 24, 2022. The US Embassy in Kiev warned its citizens in the country because of the war that spread from the Donetsk region, where the conflicts intensified, to the Crimea.

In the statement made by the US Embassy in Kyiv; "The State Department is aware that Russia is stepping up its efforts to launch attacks on Ukraine's civilian infrastructure and government facilities in the coming days. Russian attacks in Ukraine pose a constant threat to civilians and civilian infrastructure.
