The death toll rises in buildings hit by Russia in Ukraine

The number of people who lost their lives in the attacks carried out by Russia on the Ukrainian cities of Uman and Dnipro is increasing.

The death toll is increasing in Russia's attacks targeting Uman and Dnipro, about 215 kilometers south of Ukraine's capital, Kiev, at night.

In a statement made by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, it was reported that the number of people who lost their lives in the attack carried out by the Russian army on a 9-storey building in Uman reached 16. 18 people were injured in the attack, 9 of them were treated at the hospital. In addition, it was emphasized that 17 people, 3 of whom were children, were rescued from the building and the search and rescue efforts were continuing.

"Rescue teams will work until they are sure that no one is trapped under the rubble," Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenski said on his social media account.

A 31-year-old woman and her 2-year-old daughter lost their lives in the Russian attack on the city of Dnipro and Uman in eastern Ukraine. Thus, the total loss of life in the attacks carried out by the Russian army on two Ukrainian cities during the night rose to 18.
