The number of people who lost their lives in the flood and landslide disaster that occurred in the state of Sao Paulo after heavy rains in the southeast of Brazil is increasing day by day.

In the statement made by the authorities, it was stated that the number of people who lost their lives in the flood and landslide disaster increased to 65. Sao Paulo state officials announced that search and rescue operations in the area have been completed and damage assessment has begun.

More than 2,400 people in the region had to leave their homes due to floods and landslides.
