Gunmen attacked the bar called "La Texana" in the city of Irapuato, in the Mexican state of Guanajuato, at night. It was stated that 12 people were killed and 3 people were injured in the attack. Eyewitnesses said that several men in ski masks came to the bar and opened fire on the people inside with automatic weapons. During the attack, some customers managed to escape by escaping through the back door of the bar, while the wounded were reported to have escaped by hiding among the corpses.

In the statement made by the Guanajuato State Attorney General's Office, it was stated that an investigation was launched into the attack and investigations were carried out at the scene.
