Frightening fire in Richmond, USA! Toxic fumes are spreading everywhere

Toxic smoke spread to the environment due to a fire at a recycling facility in Richmond, USA. It is stated that about 2,000 people are under evacuation orders.

A recycling facility in Richmond, Indiana, USA, caught fire. As efforts continue to extinguish the fire, which began on Tuesday afternoon, the Wayne County Emergency Management Agency announced that evacuation orders have been issued for approximately 2,000 people.

Indiana State Fire Chief Steve Jones said in a statement that plastics were among the burning materials and that the fumes rising from the facility were "toxic."

EFFECT CAN CONTINUE FOR DAYS

Noting that the fire could last for days, Jones stated that an evacuation order was given for those living within 800 meters of the facility, and that the instruction could be updated by the authorities in case the wind changes direction.

Those who came across the remains of the fire in the gardens of their houses were asked not to touch the items in question. The cause of the fire is not yet known.
