At least 34 people were killed in a gun attack on a childcare center in Thailand.

It was announced that children and adults were among the dead following the brutal massacre of a former police officer.

22 Children Died

Making a statement after the armed attack, the chief of police stated that 22 children have been confirmed to have lost their lives so far, and that 5 personnel, including an 8-month pregnant teacher, were shot.

The attacker was identified as Panya Khamrap, who was fired from the police station last year after failing a drug test and will appear in court tomorrow.

Attacker Panya Khamrap, a former police officer, also reportedly killed his wife and child before shooting himself.
