A Family Has Been Attacked By Pit Bulls In Tennessee! 2 Children Died, Mother in Hospital
A family in Tennessee was attacked by two pitbull dogs outside their home. After the attack, 2 children lost their lives, while the mother was taken to the hospital with injuries.
In Tennessee, a family was attacked in front of their home by two pit bull dogs, which they have owned for 8 years.
Family members, 5-month-old Hollace Dean and 2-year-old Lilly Jane, died in a dog attack. Mother Kirstie Jane Bennard was badly injured while trying to pull the dogs.
"Once the attack started, she put his body on Lilly to try to protect her. Both dogs jumped on Lilly and started attacking her," Jeff Gibson, Bennard's husband's uncle, told USA Today.
The children died at the scene, according to a statement from the Shelby County Sheriff's Office. Bennard was hospitalized with injuries.
Two dogs, Cheech and Mia, were euthanized. It is known that Cheech and Mia have been with the family for eight years.
