The heavy picture of the 6.4 magnitude earthquake that occurred yesterday, approximately 15 kilometers from Ferndale in Humboldt County, in the north of California, USA, comes to light.

According to the Humboldt County Sheriff's Office, 2 people were killed and 12 injured as a result of the earthquake. There was extensive damage to roads and homes across Humboldt. On the other hand, approximately 79 thousand houses and workplaces were left without electricity due to the earthquake.

California Governor Gavin Newsom declared a state of emergency in Humboldt. After the earthquake, about 80 aftershocks were recorded.
