King of Jordan II. Abdullah's daughter, Princess İman, married Cemil Alexander Thermiotis of Greek origin. Allegedly, Thermiotis converted to Islam in order to marry Princess Iman and took the name 'Jameel'.

King of Jordan II. Princess Iman, 27, the eldest daughter of Abdullah, married 29-year-old Greek and Venezuelan businessman Jameel Alexander Thermiotis.

The ceremony, held at Beitul Jordan Palace in Amman on Sunday, was attended by members of the royal and Thermiotis family, as well as local and foreign guests. After the wedding ceremony, the Quran was read in the ceremony broadcast live on state television.

Born to a Greek family in Caracas, Venezuela, Thermiotis became engaged to Princess Iman last summer. A business graduate, Thermiotis works in finance in New York.
