During the performance of the world-famous DJ Tiesto, one of the hot air balloons tied to the ground got out of control due to the strong wind. As a result of the balloon being dragged towards the audience, 14 people were injured.
In the statement made by the Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection of the city of Leon, it was stated that after the first aid to the injured, 6 people with serious condition were taken to the hospital.
The authorities stated that a major disaster was averted thanks to the rapid control of the balloon by the officials, and that an investigation was launched into the accident.
