At a festival held in the city of Leon, in the Mexican state of Guanajuato, one of the hot air balloons went out of control and flew over the audience. It was reported that 14 people were injured in the incident.

As a result of the balloon being dragged towards the audience, 14 people were injured.

In the statement made by the Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection of the city of Leon, it was stated that after the first aid to the injured, 6 people with serious condition were taken to the hospital.

The authorities stated that a major disaster was averted thanks to the rapid control of the balloon by the officials, and that an investigation was launched into the accident.
