On Thursday, a jury in Park City, Utah, after less than three hours of deliberation, decided Paltrow, 50, was not at fault and retired Sanderson, 76, was 100 percent at fault.

The jury has reached its verdict in the civil case between Gwyneth Paltrow and Terry Sanderson regarding a skiing accident that occurred seven years ago.

After less than three hours of debate, a jury in Park City, Utah, decided that Paltrow, 50, was not at fault, and Sanderson, a 76-year-old retired optometrist, was 100 percent wrong.

During the two-week trial, the jury was tasked with determining what Paltrow and Sanderson did before and after the incident on February 26, 2016, who the downhill skier was and who bumped into whom.

According to Paltrow's statement to PEOPLE; "I felt succumbing to a false allegation jeopardized my integrity. I am happy with the outcome and appreciate all the hard work of Judge Holmberg and the jury, and thank them for their thoughtful approach to the case. The judge is handling this case."

Big Move from Paltrow to Sanderson
