The Number of Deaths from Strep A in England Reached 122

The UK Health Safety Agency (UKHSA) announced that a total of 122 people died this year due to Strep A.

The UK Health Safety Authority (UKHSA) said in a statement yesterday that there is an increase in cases outside the seasonal normals in both scarlet fever and the disease known as Strep A. UKHSA reported 33,836 cases of scarlet fever by 19 September. December 25. Emphasizing a high increase in scarlet fever cases, the authorities underlined that deaths due to Strep A reached 122 in total this year.

Experts emphasized that the early symptoms of Strep A are high fever, swollen glands in the throat, sore throat, body rash and muscle aches.
